Spare No Expanse turned 5 and hit 20 tape releases this year (wild!)
Thought it was time for another compilation (this is our 4th overall)
Featuring, like always, a few label alums (including at least one under a new name, see if you can figure out who!)
And, again like always, plenty of new friends

When you bring a horde of unique artists together under one roof sequencing becomes an interesting question
Do you let the cards fall where they may? Or put arrange them with an eye towards a narrative trajectory?

Here we have tended towards the latter, and with a twist of sorts for SNE
In the mold of some very influential ambient records (Return of the Durutti Column, Nightmare Ending, also the Good Time soundtrack), we've got a sung piece to wrap up this otherwise instrumental album.

In that spirit I urge everyone to listen through from start to end at least once or twice. I mean why else are you on the ambient tab on Bandcamp?
